Miss Wilkes wins award

Miss Wilkes has been recognised by Ormiston Academies Trust for her wonderful work on the OHA #WeWill Project. 

Social Action is close to our hearts at OHA but Miss Wilkes’ vision, determination and resilience has taken it to the next level.

All 210 of our Y8 students, as well as two of our local primaries have been involved in our #WeWill Cook project. Our students have worked on reducing food deprivation within Stoke – On – Trent and have engaged with a range of local charities to ensure that our local community is making a difference on a number of fronts.

Miss Wilkes is a true inspiration to our staff and students and shows what can be achieved when you put your mind to something.
