Performing Arts
Our KS3 Performing Arts curriculum develops students’ confidence, creativity and communication skills through Drama and Dance. Students explore a range of theatre traditions, performance styles and dance genres, progressing from Greek Theatre and dance through the decades in Year 7, to Commedia dell’Arte and World Dance in Year 8, and Physical Theatre and professional dance works in Year 9. Through practical performances, collaboration and creative projects, students build teamwork, resilience and performance skills while gaining an appreciation of the arts.
