Photography Workshop
Last week our Year 10 GCSE Photography students attended an inspiring workshop with professional photographer Adam Lowndes. Adam shared his personal journey into professional photography, offering valuable insight into education routes and career pathways within the creative industry.
The workshop linked closely to students’ current coursework project on Identity, with a strong focus on portrait photography. Adam introduced key skills and techniques, supporting students as they completed both studio-based and on-location shoots around the school site.
In the afternoon, students explored digital editing, where Adam demonstrated essential techniques using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to enhance their photographs. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and produced some excellent outcomes throughout the day.
