Network Rail Visit

Our Year 8 students recently spent an insightful day exploring careers within the railway industry. Throughout the visit, they learned about the vital roles that keep the network running, from engineering and signalling to telecommunications and vegetation management.

The day included a live drone demonstration, showing how modern technology is used in everyday railway operations. Students also gained a deeper understanding of the importance of safety and the work required to maintain the railway environment.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to see real-world engineering in action and consider the many career paths available in the rail sector.
