Students visit Rugby World Cup Trophy
Our students had a fantastic time last week visiting the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy tour at Trentham! It was an action-packed day where everyone got stuck into a variety of fun rugby games and drills, developing their skills and teamwork.
What made the day even more special was seeing several students get involved who had never played rugby before. They dove straight into the new challenge with great spirit, showing exactly the kind of “give it a go” attitude we love at OHA!
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly getting up close with the trophy itself. With the excitement of the Red Roses’ World Cup victory still fresh in everyone’s minds, it was an incredibly inspiring moment for our aspiring athletes to see the ultimate prize in person.
A huge thank you to RFU Midlands Club Support and England Rugby for hosting such an engaging session. It’s a brilliant time for women’s rugby, and we love seeing our students so motivated by the world-class talent in the sport!
