Celebrating Amazing Community Dedication!

We want to give a huge shout-out to Phoebe Mae in Year 8 (8A2) for her incredible dedication and hard work supporting the local community in Tunstall.

Phoebe is an amazing young lady who consistently volunteers her time for two fantastic local groups: the Tunstall Town Centre Community Association and Tunstall Together CIC (Community Interest Company).

Her contributions have been outstanding:

Remembrance: Phoebe personally attached 1,000 poppy heads to stems so they could be displayed on boards in the memorial garden, a truly dedicated effort!

Tunstall Together: She constantly volunteers for community projects, helping with everything from putting up banners and collecting donations to advertising events and informing the public via the community hub in Tunstall Market. She even helps generate ideas for future events.

Market Support: We know many of you are already familiar with Phoebe as she regularly helps her mum and nan on their market stalls.

Phoebe has already volunteered to help at a special event in January when Tunstall Together CIC launches publicly and moves into its new office space. The event will also feature local history organisations explaining the history of Sir Smith Child and the Tunstall Tower Square clock tower.

Phoebe, your commitment to improving your local area is an inspiration to us all! Keep up the fantastic work!
