Last week, Year 10 and 11 GCSE Religious Studies students visited the Islamic Experience Exhibition in Birmingham. The students represented the academy wonderfully and behaved impeccably, despite the unavoidable delays in getting to the venue. It was a brilliant and informative trip covering many aspects of the GCSE RS content including; the 5 Pillars of Islam, Faith and History, Pilgrimage and Muslim contributions to science. All the information was well presented and relevant for their RS GCSE and will be invaluable in helping them to achieve their potential in the Summer examinations. Well done to all students who attended!
