GCSE Success

A Day of Celebration for Our Amazing Year 11 Students!

What a day! There were smiles, hugs, and high fives all around this morning as our incredible Year 11 students arrived to collect their GCSE results. Their hard work and dedication over the past two years have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate their success with them.

We saw fantastic achievements across the board, with students earning great results in subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, statistics, dance, and health and social care. These results are a testament to the effort our students have put in and the unwavering support of our staff.

While every student’s journey is unique and deserves to be celebrated, we want to give a special shout-out to a few of our standout achievers:

  • Emily Elkin soared to success with a perfect set of Grade 9s in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, along with Grade 8s in history, Spanish, and statistics.
  • Kobe Vickers, one of our most determined students, achieved a Grade 7 in history and Grade 6s in English language and literature.
  • Jack Fleet secured an impressive three Grade 9s in statistics, mathematics, and chemistry, and Grade 8s in both biology and physics.
  • The wonderfully talented Macey Ford, a star of many of our performing arts productions, earned a Grade 8 in mathematics and a Grade 7 in English language, English literature, and geography.

This day marks the start of an exciting new chapter for all of our students, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next. They have truly embodied the spirit of ambition, support, and opportunity that we champion here at OHA.

Mr. Fitzgibbon:
“We are so incredibly proud of our students. The effort they’ve put in is a real inspiration, and it’s fantastic to see that hard work rewarded today. These results truly show how determined they have been, supported every step of the way by our amazing staff team. I look forward to watching them go on to achieve great things.”

Congratulations, Year 11! We wish you all the very best for the future! Keep in touch, once an OHA’er always an OHA’er.
