Orchestra Experience

Last week, selected Year 7 music students had the opportunity to attend a performance by the renowned Halle orchestra at the Victoria Hall. The orchestra treated them to some iconic pieces, including Leonard Bernstein’s lively ‘Mambo’ and Prokofiev’s dramatic ‘Dance of the Knights’ (famously used as the theme for The Apprentice). This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience live orchestral music and expand their musical horizons.
