BBC Careers Roadshow Visits

On Friday 15th November, OHA hosted the BBC Bitesize Careers Roadshow for all students in Y7-Y10.

The host, BBC Radio Stoke Presenter, Lucas Yeomans talked students through how to access their own individual careers support via the BBC Bitesize website and then interviewed 3 panellists:

Fran Anderson – Production Assistant Fast Track Apprentice – BBC Introducing

Laura Wilson – Business Degree Apprentice – JCB

Laura Jennings – Head of Partnerships (Commercial) – Port Vale Football Club

Students heard from all the panellists about their education history & how they got into these amazing experiences in our local area. Students were then offered an opportunity for Q&A and speak to the presenters in more detail.
