English Literature Day
English Literature day @ Keele University
On Friday 24th March a selection of Y10 students attended an English Literature Day at Keele University. The day was split into three sessions, ‘Studying Life Writing’ where the students analysed the difference between an autobiography and a biograpy, ‘Telling Tales: Myth and Myth retelling where students learned how to study an extract identifying the languge used and an insight into how English Literature is taught in a seminar at University. Finally the day finished with a session about ‘Graphic Novels: Reading beyond the Comic Book’ this was a new insight which the students thoroughly enjoyed.
The students were a credit to the academy and were impeccably behaved.
