A group of Y10 students attended a professional basketball game on Sunday afternoon at the Cheshire Oaks Arena. The game was between Cheshire Phoenix and London Lions. Both teams played extremely well, with the Lions winning the game 97-89.
All of the students thoroughly enjoyed their first experience of professional basketball. Hopefully, this has further inspired them to continue developing their own basketball skills.
Also, there was a great effort from Jack P at the end of quarter shootout where Jack needed to score a layup, free throw and 3 point shot in 30 seconds. Jack managed to score all but his 3 pointer in front of a cheering crowd!
