Horizon supports Packmoor in their first culinary event for Year 4 families

On Thursday 3rd November, Packmoor Primary School held their first #WeWill cooking event for 80 parents/carers and siblings of their Year 4 students.

Lou Macari also attended and spoke with the families about his achievements with the Macari Foundation and talked to the students about how making a difference needs a group of people working together, not just one person with an idea, embedding our idea of the importance of our Youth Social Action Team.

The Year 8 #WeWill Leaders and HeadChefs from Ormiston Horizon helped serve the families and create the WeWill restaurant in their school; it was a lovely evening to sit down with a community of families and enjoy a home cooked meal.Their culinary dishes included Staffordshire Lobby, Pasta & Meatballs, Chicken Stir-fry and Zimbabwean Stew all served with Sourdough bread.
